Abstract
Constant spring hanger is an important part of the pipeline system, and its performance directly affects the safe operation of the pipeline. In order to explore the influencing factors of constant spring hanger load performance, using the mechanical model of constant spring hanger, this paper analyzed the effects of the two major factors, namely system friction and spring stiffness deviation, on its load performance quantitatively. The results prove that constant spring hanger invariance is mainly related to friction, whereas spring stiffness deviation just affects load deviation. On this basis, two indicators of friction factor λf and elastic factor λk are proposed to measure the effects of friction and spring stiffness deviation on the constant spring hanger performance respectively. This study is helpful for the manufacturing and optimization of constant spring hangers. Meanwhile, it also contributes to the design and optimization of pressure pipelines. All these results have referential value on the root cause analysis for the abnormal expansion of high-parameter pipelines.
