Abstract
The frequent occurrence of extreme high temperature weather leads to a significant increase in transformer load rate, which puts forward higher requirements for transformer heat dissipation performance and its safe and reliable operation. When the transformer is working, it will affect the service life of insulation materials and greatly reduce the service life of the transformer. Therefore, based on the relevant theoretical knowledge of transformers and the relationship between extreme high temperature weather and transformers, this paper discusses the influence and cooling of extreme high temperature weather on transformers, and summarizes the technical requirements and cooling methods of existing standards for transformer heat dissipation. The cooling mode of transformer and its application scope are sorted out, and their advantages and disadvantages are compared. Finally, the development status of transformer cooling technology is summarized and compared, and the research direction of transformer cooling technology is prospected.
