Abstract
Aiming at the problems of general voltage and current accuracy of lithium battery formation equipment and small number of cells formed by a single device, this paper designs a set of multichannel calibration system for 18650 and 21700 ternary lithium battery formation. The system adopts a two-level distributed control system with the lower computer as the core, and the lower computer is mainly composed of CPU and channel board motherboard, which has the functions of information acquisition, data processing, communication coordination and so on. The CPU of the lower unit adopts STM32F429 as the main control chip, which communicates with the PC of the upper unit through TCP/IP protocol to realize the multi-channel high-speed inspection control. In addition, the CPU of the lower unit employs two types of digital-to-analogue converter chips (DAC), MasterDAC and subsidiary DAC (SubDAC), which are used to provide the voltage and current reference settings for the whole unit and to fine-tune the voltages and currents to eliminate channel hardware errors. After verification, the designed calibration system can realize single CPU control of 400 channels with current error rate controlled within 0.05% and voltage error controlled within ±2mV.
