Abstract

Doubly salient motor is a new type of motor used in modern aviation. It has many advantages, such as simple rotor structure, good reliability, high power density, adjustable excitation and so on. In this paper, the operation mode and characteristics of doubly salient motor are analyzed, and its typical application is introduced. It provides useful reference and basis for improving the technology of the generator.
