1 November 2000 Study on photobleaching of PMMA/DRI film by Z-scan measurement

By the z-scan method, we investigated the photobleaching processes of a nonlinear optical polymer film made of poly (methyl methacrylate) with a dispersed red (PMMA/DR1) side chain at the 488 nm wavelength of an argon ion laser. It provides a simple method to determine the parameters in a bleaching model that describes the polymer photobleaching processes.
