Based on the coal mine environment is humid, coal mining equipment corrosion is serious, and the existing spray gun short spray distance under the fan spray width is small, spraying distance close to the paint after easy splash, easy pollution after the dispersion of droplet particles and other problems, proposed an air atomization spray gun to its spray paint for corrosion protection, the optimization of its research. The main study of the operating parameters on the liquid surface deposition film formation and airflow expansion degree and other effects. To clarify its spraying performance, Fluent was used to simulate it. To verify the reliability of the simulation results, a spray gun test system was built and compared with the simulation results. Simulation and experimental studies show that increasing the fan control pressure will widen the fan spray amplitude, but if the pressure is too large, the liquid film will be thin in the middle and thick on both sides, and 1.0 bar is preferred. By increasing the pressure of the auxiliary atomizing hole, the fan spraying amplitude decreases, but the spraying quality improves, and 1.3 bar is preferred.
