Abstract
The efficiency test of hydraulic turbine is one of the basic tests of hydraulic units. The efficiency characteristic of hydraulic turbine is the basic dynamic characteristic of units. The on-site efficiency test of unit four in a large capacity power station is carried out by using the ultrasonic method and the index method, and the actual efficiency characteristic curve of the turbine under the test head is obtained. According to the flow measured by the ultrasonic flowmeter and the volute pressure difference measured by the index method, the volute flow coefficient K and the index coefficient X are determined by the linear regression method to guide the economic operation of the unit.
