Abstract
According to the key of the traffic characteristics signalized intersections in the port area and propose a design scheme of the left turn at the intersection. Analyzing traffic flow conflicts and studying research on phase sequence and phase optimization model, a method of using phase matrix to express phase sequence is proposed. The result shows that combined with contraflow left-turn lane, the new phase sequence and phase optimization scheme and timing scheme can effectively reduce the intersection delay.
