Abstract
Based on the measured data of wheel diameter of Suzhou Metro Line 2, the correlation between wheel diameter and train operation mileage is analyzed. Fistly, in order to explain the force relationship between wheel and rail, the method of multi-body dynamics has been used. After that, to predict the residual life of wheels, using genetic algorithm optimized neural network and data fitting methods. Finally, the fitting formula can be used to predict the useful life of wheel. It is of great significance to prolong the service life of wheels and reduce the operating cost of vehicles.
