Abstract
One of the scenes where smart transportation enables smart community is smart parking, which involves vehicle recognition The principle of vehicle recognition technology is analyzed and the scheme of license plate recognition system is determined. The overall design of vehicle recognition application system is carried out, the research from network architecture, software architecture, camera scheme, AI smart terminal(ST), terminal software, content management system (CMS), scene optimization, etc. is conducted, the main design scheme and software module functions are explained, and a community-level smart parking management system based on video/image automatic vehicle recognition and network connection is built. The system is piloted and applied in some communities in a large city, and the operating status shows that it can fully cover three scenes: single passage one-way, single passage dual-way, and dual passage dual-way, and the license plate recognition rate of standard entrance and exit scenes is>99.7%. The system follows the development trend of networking and information management, and has the value of promotion and application in the industry.
