Abstract
With the increasing use of urban vehicles, intelligent transportation has also attracted more and more attention. License plate location technology is a very important technology in intelligent transportation. First, the interference factors and noise in the image are removed through image preprocessing, and then the license plate location is realized through rough location and accurate location. Through rough location, the license plate position can be initially positioned. Through accurate location, the license plate area can be corrected to achieve accurate location. The domestic and other regional license plates are selected for experiments. The experiments show that the method can effectively locate the license plate area accurately.
