Abstract
On the basis of long-term measurements in the surface layer, the dependences of the histograms of the distribution of temperature values T and the longitudinal component of the horizontal wind velocity u on the stratification of the turbulent atmosphere are obtained. Experimental data on the time-continuous duration distributions of various stratifications of the atmosphere have been obtained. Long-term measurements were carried out in 2019 in the mountainous conditions of the Sayan Solar Observatory and in 2021 on the territory of the experimental complex of the V.E. Zuev Institute of Atmospheric Optics SB RAS (Tomsk). It is shown that the histograms constructed from the measurement data under typical conditions realized in the surface layer of the Earth's atmosphere basically correspond to the normal (Gaussian) probability density distribution. In cases of highly unstable or highly stable stratifications of the atmosphere, histograms may deviate from the center of the normal distribution curve, significant asymmetry coefficients appear in histograms, characterizing the deviation from the center of the normal distribution, asymmetry appears on the far wings of experimental distributions and negative excesses.
