Abstract

"Vignette-Style" is a diorama-like illustration that condenses a unique perspective of a work. It is characterized by a composition that looks like a three-dimensional cutout of a part of the scene. It is important to determine how to arrange the background diorama and characters in a composition to make a character more attractive. We developed a system that allows users to easily create backgrounds with an inverted triangle composition. The user can adjust the background without the knowledge of the composition rules when the user moves the vertices of the triangle displayed on the screen using the mouse.
