Abstract
With the rapid development of the image object detection technology, image small object detection technology has become one of the hot researches in this field. In recent years, detection transformers (DETR) technology has been gradually applied in object detection research after being proposed by the Facebook artificial intelligence research team. Since small objects have characteristics such as small size and limited information, in order to enhance the detection ability of image small object, this paper proposes the super-resolution enhanced DETR(SRE-DETR) network based on image super-resolution. Based on DETR algorithm model, image super-resolution technology is introduced. And using the characteristics of dense layout, this article design and construct the image super-resolution network structure with residuals to enhance the image quality of small objects, so as to effectively improve the feature information of image small objects and enhance the accuracy of image small objects detection. Through the experiment of this study, it is shown that whether the image after super-resolution amplification and the image of the same size after super-division processing, the detection accuracy of small objects in the image has been significantly improved.
