Abstract
The Doppler rate-of-change plays a crucial role in characterizing the velocity of satellites within satellite communication systems. Accurate measurements of this parameter are essential to ensure reliable data transmission and optimal system performance. This research paper presents a novel method for accurately measuring the Doppler rate-of-change for HDR, and the problem of accurately validating Doppler frequency for HDR simulation has been effectively resolved by converting dynamic quantities into two static measurements. The proposed approach leverages the principles of spectrum analyzer superheterodyne frequency sweeping, zero intermediate frequency digital filtering, and oscilloscope roll mode measurement. By separately measuring the maximum Doppler frequency shift and Doppler scanning period, the method enables the precise and efficient calculation of the Doppler rate-of-change parameter. The key contribution of this method lies in addressing the issue of traceability of extreme value and dynamic index parameter measurement in satellite data transmission baseband testing equipment. This method provides a simple means for calibrating Doppler frequency dynamic parameters, Verifying the precision of simulating Doppler frequencies in the baseband equipment, which has been experimentally verified. Furthermore, the method for measuring dynamic Doppler frequency can be extended to various fields, including radar and unmanned aerial vehicle speed measurement.
