Abstract
In this paper, a new parallel discretization scheme is proposed and applied to the radiation diffusion equation. The radiation diffusion equation is solved by differential operator splitting method, and the nonlinear diffusion equation is solved in the splitting step. The diffusion solution is predicted by a non-overlapping parallel discrete scheme, then a new conservationtype parallel scheme is used in the correction step. Typical numerical examples test the applicability of the algorithm, demonstrating good accuracy, stability and computational efficiency.
