Abstract
In view of the problem of multibeam survey line in the 2023 Higher Education Cup China Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling, this paper proposes an optimal survey line method for multibeam planning based on the geometric shortest path model. Through this method, the coverage width of multibeam survey line and the overlap rate of adjacent two survey lines are calculated, and the multibeam survey line planning is carried out for sea areas with different depths, so as to achieve the shortest path survey line coverage in the range of 10%-20%overlap rate and achieve the optimal detection effect. Through the model solving and verification results, this method can be widely used in the survey problem of the seabed slope area with inclination, so as to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the survey ship in the seabed survey task.
