The general features of the ladar and FLIR data measured by the ground-based Tri-Serve Laser Radar (ladar) are introduced. Methods documented about fusion of ladar and FLIR data are reviewed. The automatic target recognition (ATR) system using fusion of ladar and FLIR data developed in our laboratory is presented. The parallel implementation of ATR system is discussed. The results of target segmentation obtained by this data fusion are compared with those obtained by other methods.
