Three new magnetic fluids, that haven't been previously reported, were chemically synthesized by improving the hydrothermal techniques. The fine particles ferrites were produced by coprecipitation and treated further in order to obtain stable ionic sols. Highly concentrated magnetic fluids (25% volume fraction) can be prepared by following the procedure described here. Characterization was performed using X-ray diffraction techniques.
