Abstract
All-optical clock recovery is the key technology in 3R all-optical regeneration. In this paper, to reduce the pattern effect in a bit clock recovering using injectied mode-locked laser based on semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA), we propose a novel technology named nonlinear polarization rotation, which is proved to be very effective by numerical calculation.
