Abstract
The implementation of spatial operator is a core set of spatial data operation in a Geographic Information System (GIS). And the implementation of spatial operators whether in desktop GIS or in mobile GIS, it would need to construct an effective and robust topological relation model. A novel model based on label was presented to solve the implementation of spatial operator in this paper. The implementation of spatial operator based on label is effective not only for geometry objects with same dimensions but also for geometry objects with different dimensions such as clip operator. Different spatial operators can be finished by different label's definition. The application results in the project show that the method is feasible and robust.
