Abstract

Method of material dispersion account for calculation of optical fiber chromatic dispersion is presented. Calculation of chromatic dispersion slopes for fibers with refractive index profiles, for which analytical decisions and experimental data of chromatic dispersion slopes are known, is performed by an offered method and using traditional method. On the basis of the comparative analysis the estimation of adequacy of the offered method is given.
