Abstract
An intelligent pressure analysis system was designed based on the improved bedsore prevention mattress. The system can recognize the area of the human body that need to be massaged according to the maximum pressure and its duration in each area. The pressure signals are measured from the sensors in different mattress areas, after they are sampled and then sent to the computer by serial port, the main functions of the system, such as data storage and real time analysis, will be implemented in the designed LabVIEW virtual instrument. The changes of pressure signals and the state in each area of the human body can be visually displayed by the virtual instrument, and that is useful for clinic observation.
