Abstract

In this chapter, we detail comparisons between the approximated analytical solutions of the RTE, described in Chs. 5–14, and the related reference MC results found in the supplemental materials and in other independent MC simulations. These comparisons provide fundamental information on accuracy and range of applicability of the analytical solutions.
