Abstract
This study applies the NSGA-II genetic algorithm to investigate multi-objective forest harvesting strategies. Initially, a method is proposed to determine the optimal harvest age for maximizing carbon sequestration objectives, based on the concepts of the CO2FIX model and the Intec model. Subsequently, a multi-objective model is established to generate stand-level harvest plans according to specific objective conditions. Lastly, the study concludes with a discussion of future research directions.
